WHY – Why Single Women Are Buying Homes at Twice the Rate of Single Men

The author mentions some things that are true in the aspect of women and income. He even shows figures where single women are four times more likely to be buying houses; single moms 8.6 million to 2.6 million single dads.

That right there is the answer if you choose to look deeper.  Men are being forced to pay outrageous amount of their income for children they may see every other weekend at best. While still trying to survive themselves.  Treated by the justice system as third class citizens, some are forced to have roommates, be homeless, starve, work two or more jobs, miss visitation – either money or lose licenses – pay three times. The list goes on and on.

All licenses: drivers, fishing, hunting, CDL, Guard Card for Security.. Lost a job more than once because they suspended my licenses for being in arrears

I am talking from vast experience with the system (see Child Support Rape). Forced to live on the floor in the backroom of friends trailer, or outside even.  Having a roommate where I was attacked with a knife and wound up getting arrested, or didn’t pay their portion of the rent, download games on my computer (including the viruses) after telling her not to. Yes folks, I, have seen that and more.  All in the name of helping your part with the children.

This leads me back to the why and how single women are buying houses at a rate of four times faster than men.  Child support is not reportable income.  LET’s be clear CHILD SUPPORT IS NOT REPORTABLE, TAX FREE INCOME .  A woman for example gets $200.00 to $2000.00 per month – per child in some cases (states). Other states have differing criteria on how CS is calculated.  Multiply it out $2400.00 to 24,000.00 of non-reportable income. Makes the house payment while the man starves and sleeps on the floor.

Now the 2nd part of the equation is the UnEarned Income Tax Credits.  That’s right, since the women don’t have to claim child-support, they are entitled to get UITC – Unearned Income Tax Credit. Add that amount to the yearly bottom line, there is a down payment. Now she has a house payment, she goes back to court and wants more money for taking care of the kids. Her choice by the way, and he (dad) is fucked.  Not only does the support amount go up, he also pays taxes on it and more than likely won’t get to claim the kids.

I have lived this life for 20 years now, my ex-wife when I was applying for a new job would always say; remember that you need every other weekend off.  Well I can tell you that doesn’t sit too well with employers – simply because you’re the man and the same rules do not apply.
